WVCHIP reinstated the collection of monthly premiums in April 2024.
Members are notified by their approval letters of their enrollment in WVCHIP Premium and the monthly premium payment requirements: $35.00 per month for families with one member enrolled, and $71.00 per month for families with two or more members enrolled.
WVCHIP resumed sending monthly invoices in December 2025. The December invoices included amounts due for both November and December coverage. Amounts already paid may not be reflected on the invoice.
Please know that coverage will not be closed due to late or missed monthly premium payments.
